As reported earlier in a breaking news story, Usher moves to the head of the Hot 100 ranking with "OMG," featuring will.i.am, his ninth single to top the list.

With the 6-1 ascension, Usher becomes the first artist to top the list in the past three decades. His first No. 1, "Nice & Slow" ruled for three weeks in February 1998, and was followed by three chart-toppers in 2001, four in 2004 and one in 2008. Only Madonna and Janet Jackson were able to pull off the three-decade achievement in the 80s, 90s and 00s.

"OMG" takes both the Airplay and Digital Gainer awards, moving into the top 10 of Radio Songs (14-7) and to No. 1 on Digital Songs (2-1).

Making way for Usher's chart champ is B.o.B's "Nothin' on You" which falls to No. 2 after two weeks on top. The Atlanta rapper's new single "Airplanes," featuring Eminem and Hayley Williams, jumps 9-7 on the Hot 100 and arrives on Radio Songs at No. 41, the highest debut on that chart since Usher's "Love In This Club" opened at No. 38 in the May 10, 2008, issue. B.o.B also debuts on the Hot 100 with "Magic," featuring Rivers Cuomo of Weezer, at No. 83.

Rihanna's "Rude Boy" slips a spot to No. 3, as does Taio Cruz's "Break Your Heart" (3-4), "Need You Now" by Lady Antebellum (4-5) and Train's "Hey, Soul Sister" (5-6).

Ke$ha's "Your Love Is My Drug" holds at No. 8, ahead of Jason DeRulo's "In My Head" which falls 7-9.

Jay-Z once again takes the lead for most top 10s by a rapper on the Hot 100 as "Young Forever" skips 12-10, his 17th title to reach the upper tier. Jay-Z had been tied with Ludacris for that accolade as the two have been jockeying for the lead for the past couple of years. Jay-Z may soon have to share the mark yet again, as Ludacris holds at No. 11 with "My Chick Bad," featuring Nicki Minaj.

The Glee Cast places five new entries on the Hot 100, led by "One Less Bell to Answer/A House Is Not A Home," which is the Hot Shot Debut at No. 53. It's the most titles the troupe has debuted with in a single week, having previously placed four tracks on four occasions, including each of the last two weeks.

Notable debuts among the 13 new entries this week are the Black Eyed Peas' "Rock That Body" (No. 62) and Shakira's "Gypsy" (No. 65). The Peas track is the fifth title to chart from their album "The E.N.D.," the most they've ever placed on the list from one set. Shakira performed her new track on both "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and "American Idol," prompting a 313% digital spike to 30,000 downloads.

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) - Kathy Griffin is back on the "D List." Getting ready to premiere her sixth season of the hit Bravo show, Kathy is more A-list than ever (save for that Emmy loss).
With assistants Tom and Tiffany in tow, and mother Maggie not too far behind, Griffin performs sold-out shows around the country, campaigns to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," hangs with A-list celebs like Liza Minelli and Kristen Chenoweth, and even finds time to head to Alaska to knock on Sarah Palin's door. No word yet on if she answers.
The Emmy Award-winning series returns to Bravo on Tuesday, June 15th at 9pm. But one week before, fans will get to see the comedian's latest stand-up comedy special, her eighth on the network.
Following head-scratching titles like "Strong Black Woman" and "Balls of Steel," the comedian returns with "Kathy Griffin Does the Bible Belt." Filmed at the Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville, TN, which literally stands at the corner of Church Street and Gay Street, Griffin skewers Oprah and Gayle yet again, as well as Sharon Stone and others.
Griffin's all-new one-hour standup special "Kathy Griffin Does the Bible Belt" premieres on Tuesday, June 8th at 10pm on Bravo.

B.o.B Weaves Way To Hot 100 No. 1; 'Glee' Generates More Debuts

 

 

 

 

 

As mentioned in a breaking news story yesterday, B.o.B moves into the No. 1 slot on the Billboard Hot 100 with his debut single "Nothin' On You," featuring Bruno Mars. The rapper is the fourth male vocalist since October to reach No. 1 with his first entry, following Jay Sean, Jason Derulo and Taio Cruz. It's the fastest chart-topping clip for rookie men on the Hot 100 since Chris Brown, James Blunt, Ne-Yo and Daniel Powter each crowned the list between November 2005 and April 2006.



B.o.B also scores the chart's Hot Shot Debut as "Airplanes," featuring Hayley Williams of Paramore, lands at No. 12. That track and the just released "Bet I" - which should hit the Hot 100 next week - were digitally released in advance of his debut album, "B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray," which reaches retail on April 27.

"Not Myself Tonight," Christina Aguilera's first single from her upcoming "Bionic" album (due June 8), moves 77,000 downloads and enters the Hot 100 at No. 23 to become the singer's third-highest Hot 100 debut. Only "Keep Gettin' Better" (No. 7, 2008) and "Ain't No Other Man" (No. 19, 2006) posted better starts. At radio, "Not Myself Tonight" improves 27-23 in its second week on Pop Songs.

Owning the next four debut slots on the Hot 100 are the latest singles from the Glee Cast, performed during the April 13 episode of the FOX series. The troupe's covers of "Gives You Hell" (The All-American Rejects), "Hello" (Lionel Richie), "Hello Goodbye" (The Beatles) and "Hello, I Love You" (The Doors) enter at Nos. 32, 35, 49 and 66, respectively. Collectively, the debuting tracks move 245,000 downloads, while a fifth track, its rendition of AC/DC's "Highway to Hell" shifts an additional 22,000, while falling just shy of the chart.

Since the start of 2009, the Glee Cast has now posted more chart entries (29) than any other act, surpassing Lil Wayne's 25 debuts during that span. And the act didn't post its first title on the list until June of last year. Expect more Glee Cast debuts next week as titles from the episode and album "The Power of Madonna" are currently selling at a brisk rate.

Moving back to the action within the Hot 100's top 10, Rihanna's "Rude Boy" is bumped to No. 2, but retains its lead on Radio Songs with 154 million listener impressions. Train's "Hey, Soul Sister" (No. 3) and Taio Cruz's "Break Your Heart" (No. 4) both hold in place.

Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" (6-5) and "In My Head" from Jason Derulo (5-6) swap spots, remaining ahead of "Telephone" by Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce, which holds at No. 7.

Usher's "OMG," featuring will.i.am, makes a 10-8 move in the congested top 10, earning Airplay Gainer accolades with an impressive 17 million listener impression increase, good enough for a strong 56-25 push on the Radio Songs tally.

Ke$ha's "Your Love Is My Drug" shoots up 19-9, the third top 10 single from her debut set "Animal." Top 40 radio play (18-13 on Pop Songs) and a short one day of retail carry-over from her April 17 appearance on "Saturday Night Live" prompt a digital spike of 47% (13-7 on Digital Songs with 124,000 downloads). Ke$ha topped the Hot 100 for nine weeks earlier this year with "TiK ToK" and took "Blah Blah Blah," featuring 3OH!3, to No. 7.

Closing out the top 10 is Adam Lambert's "Whataya Want from Me" which rises 23-10 on the heels of his "American Idol" mentoring stint, which included a performance of the track. Exposure on the FOX network ratings juggernaut results in the Digital Gainer award and a 29-8 move on Digital Songs, with sales more than doubling to 108,000.

The remaining two debuts on this week's Hot 100 belong to two current top 20 titles on Country Songs; Jason Aldean's "Crazy Town" (No. 92) and Brad Paisley's "Water" (No. 100).

Conan Returning To Late-Night On TBS

 

 

 

 

 

Months after being jettisoned as the host of "The Tonight Show," Conan O'Brien announced Monday that we will join cable channel TBS in November to host a late-night talk show.

"In three months I've gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theaters, and I'm headed to basic cable," O'Brien says. "My plan is working perfectly."

O'Brien's still-unnamed show will be an hour long and shown Monday through Thursdays at 11 p.m. EST/PST. George Lopez's "Lopez Tonight" will be bumped to midnight - but there are apparently no hurt feelings between the two, as Lopez was the one to originally approach O'Brien to join the cable channel.

"I can't think of anything better than doing my show with Conan as my lead-in," Lopez says. According to TBS, the deal between the channel and O'Brien came together last week.

The announcement comes on the same day as O'Brien starts his "Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour" comedy tour in Eugene, Ore.

The combination of O'Brien and Lopez sets up an interesting dynamic for TBS to woo an audience of both young and ethnically diverse viewers. According to Turner, 18% of "Lopez Tonight" viewers are Hispanic 18-49, the most of all late-night shows. In addition, the show is first among late night in African-American viewers, who comprise 14% of the audience. "Lopez Tonight" debuted last November, and averages about 1 million viewers a night.

Rihanna Streaks To A Fourth Week Atop Hot 100

 

Rihanna's "Rude Boy" rolls to a seventh week as the Airplay Gainer on the Billboard Hot 100 -- the longest streak in almost three years -- as it holds at No. 1 for a fourth frame. "Rude" is the first track to post such a lengthy run as the Airplay Gainer since "Buy U A Drank (Shawty Snappin')" by T-Pain featuring Yung Joc did so for seven weeks in April/May of 2007.

In one of the most stable weeks so far this year, the top eight titles on the Hot 100 remain locked in place, with all but the Black Eyed Peas' "Imma Be" at No. 7 earning bullets signifying point gains. "Nothin' On Me" from B.o.B featuring  Bruno Mars holds the runner-up slot for a third week and Train stays stuck at No. 3 with "Hey, Soul Sister."

Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now," "Telephone" by Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce and "Break Your Heart" by Taio Cruz featuring Ludacris occupy the No. 4 to No. 6 slots, respectively. At No. 8 is Justin Bieber's "Baby."

Jason Derulo returns to the top 10 with an 11-9 jump for "In My Head." The song last appeared in the upper tier three weeks ago. Closing out the top 10 is Young Money featuring Lloyd with "BedRock" (9-10).

Taking the Digital Gainer trophy for a second week is Miley Cyrus' "When I Look At You" (25-16), which posts a 44% download spike, also moving 12-10 on Digital Songs. No doubt a strong opening week box office gross (25.4 million in the U.S. and Canada) for Cyrus's picture "The Last Song," in which the song is featured, contributed to the uptick.
 
Usher, the man with the No. 1 album in the land posts the third-best Hot 100 debut of his career as "OMG," featuring will.i.am, opens at No. 14. His two prior best debuts were with his first two charting singles, "Nice & Slow" (No. 9) and "My Way" (No. 13) in 1998. "OMG" also launches at No. 7 on Digital Songs with 130,000 downloads.

Diddy-Dirty Money, the trio led by the ubiquitous entertainer/entrepreneur debuts on the Hot 100 at No. 34 with "Hello Good Morning."  A performance of the song by the act on the March 31 "American Idol" results show was timed with the track's digital release one day earlier, propelling the title to a high debut on this list and at No. 17 on Digital Songs (81,000).

Lady Gaga makes the list with a fourth track from "The Fame Monster" as her latest radio single "Alejandro" arrives at No. 72. The title also debuts on Pop Songs at No. 35, while digital downloads more than double to 24,000 (No. 71 on Digital Songs).

Rounding out the debuts are new titles from Travis McCoy featuring Bruno Mars (No. 92), the garment liberated Erykah Badu (No. 95) and Clay Walker (No. 99).

Justin Bieber debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with "My World 2.0," after shifting 283,000 copies in its first week. It's the teenager's second album and first No. 1. His first set, "My World," debuted at No. 6 upon its release last November. This week it rises to a new peak, scooting from No. 10 to No. 5 with 50,000 (up 50%).

At 16-years old, Bieber is the youngest solo male artist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 since Aug. 24, 1963, when the then-13-year old Stevie Wonder spent one week at No. 1 with "Little Stevie Wonder/The 12 Year Old Genius." (Wonder recorded the album when he was 12, but released it after turning 13.) "My World 2.0's" opening frame is also Bieber's best sales week, surpassing his previous high, when the first "My World" sold 157,000 copies over Christmas week of 2009.

Thus, with albums at Nos. 1 and 5, Bieber is the first act to concurrently chart two albums within the top five of the Billboard 200 since the chart dated Oct. 9, 2004. That's when Nelly ranked at Nos. 2 and 4 with "Suit" and "Sweat," respectively. Nelly had bowed the simultaneously-released albums at Nos. 1 and 2 on the previous week's chart. The last time an act placed two albums in the top five that weren't concurrently released was on May 3, 2003. That week 50 Cent's first two major label releases -- "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'" and the CD/DVD combo "The New Breed" were at Nos. 5 and 2, respectively.

Coming in at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 is Monica with "Still Standing," selling 184,000 copies. It's the singer's second-highest sales week and charting album, surpassed only by the 186,000 that "After the Storm" earned when it started at No. 1 way back in 2003. Last week Monica claimed her first No. 1 single on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in almost seven years as "Everything to Me" climbed from No. 3 to No. 1 on the tally. The tune -- which samples Deniece Williams' "Silly," a No. 11 R&B hit for the singer in 1981 -- is Monica's sixth No. 1 overall on the R&B chart.

The continuing saga of the "Now That's What I Call Music!" series extends its Billboard 200 chart dominance this week as the 33rd volume arrives at No. 3 with 135,000. The 21-track collection features Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles like Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" and Owl City's "Fireflies" and top 10 hits like Rihanna's "Hard" and Train's "Hey, Soul Sister." And with the "Now" franchise's latest spin-off, the Christian-leaning "Now That's What I Call Faith" debuting at No. 143, the "Now" brand has racked up an impressive 56 charting albums since it launched in 1998.

The final new arrival in the top 10 this week belongs to She & Him with its second album, fittingly titled "Volume Two." It starts at No. 6 with 47,000. That trumps the peak and best sales week of the duo's first set, "Volume One," which topped out at No. 71. (Its best sales frame -- 10,000 -- came a week earlier when it debuted on the list at No. 81.)

Last week's No. 1, Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now," slips to No. 4 with 78,000 (down 16%) while Ludacris' "Battle of the Sexes" falls four slots to No. 7 with 45,000 (down 27%). Lady Gaga's "The Fame" slides three rungs to No. 8 with 41,000 (down 15%), Marvin Sapp's "Here I Am" drops seven spots to No. 9 with 39,000 (down 48%) and the Black Eyed Peas' "The E.N.D." moves down two positions to No. 10 with 34,000 (down 11%).

Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending March 28) totaled 6.03 million units, up 6.5% compared to the sum last week (5.66 million) and down 11% compared to the comparable sales week of 2009 (6.77 million).

ST. LOUIS - In a shocking upset, Chris Jericho outlasted five elite SmackDown Superstars to become a six-time World Heavyweight Champion at WWE Elimination Chamber. But, his victory wasn’t simply a case of Jericho being “the best in the world at what he does.” Ultimately, his triumph came with some shocking “Heartbreak,” in the form of HBK.
Nonetheless, Jericho overcame tremendous odds to capture the World Championship inside Satan’s Structure, outlasting not only the legendary Undertaker, but also John Morrison, CM Punk, R-Truth and Rey Mysterio.
The career-threatening match proved to be a brutal battle from the moment CM Punk locked horns with R-Truth at the opening bell. The Second City Saint  defeated the rapping Superstar with the GTS before Rey Mysterio could even enter the Chamber at No. 3. The Master of the 619 – who has a tremendous score to settle with Punk for the back-to-back assaults he has endured on SmackDown – returned the favor by pinning Punk with a splash before Jericho could enter at No. 4.
John Morrison entered at No. 5, initiating a fast-paced trifecta of pain that eventually ended with The Guru of Greatness pinning Mysterio with Starship Pain. 
The Demon of Death Valley entered last, finishing off The Shaman of Sexy with a chokeslam onto the unforgiving steel.
The Undertaker then turned his attention back to Jericho. But just as he seemed ready to finish off his prey, Shawn Michaels suddenly emerged from under the Chamber and executed an earth-shattering Sweet Chin Music to cost the World Champion his title.
Although Shawn Michaels’ attack on The Phenom came as a surprise to the entire WWE Universe, it is no secret that HBK has been consumed with his attempts to face The Deadman in a WrestleMania rematch for months. Clearly, the frustration of coming up short in his quest time and time again - with devastating losses in the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match at Raw – has taken its toil.
Despite the circumstances surrounding Jericho’s triumph, the enormity of his feat can not be denied. By conquering the dreaded, steel terror that is the Elimination Chamber, the highly decorated Superstar did more than back-up his claim that he would capture the illustrious title two days earlier on SmackDown. His monumental triumph has earned him the right to headline WrestleMania, adding to his already amazing list of accolades.

Edge Wins Royal Rumble 

 

ATLANTA — At the 2010 Royal Rumble, 30 competitors entered the Philips Arena with the singular goal of earning the opportunity to challenge for a World Title at WrestleMania XXVI, but only one Superstar walked away with a golden ticket to The Grandest Stage of Them All.
That man’s name is Edge.

Edge’s amazing return wasn’t the only surprising moment of this year’s Rumble, however. After CM Punk scored the first eliminations, Beth Phoenix became the second woman in WWE history to compete in the event. The Glamazon entered at No. 6 and eliminated the massive Great Khali after planting a kiss on the unsuspecting giant. This lip-lock would be the only moment of levity in the contest. After being attacked by United States Champion The Miz before he even got in the ring, MVP was perhaps the most aggressive Rumbler of all. The Ballin’ Superstar got his retribution against the self-proclaimed “Awesome One” by attacking him with such

The epic bout turned even more dramatic when Unified Tag Team Champions D-Generation X proved that the Rumble truly was every man for himself. After Triple H hit Cena with a Pedigree, HBK nailed his unsuspecting friend with Sweet Chin Music, sending him to the arena floor.

Michaels would survive to be one of the final Superstars in the Rumble along with Cena, Chris Jericho, Batista and the surprise entrant, Edge. After The Rated-R Superstar dumped his former tag team partner, The Animal eliminated Michaels, crushing HBK’s dream of a rematch against Undertaker at WrestleMania.

With three former World Champions left in the ring, the intensity was palpable. Beaten and bruised, the warriors fought with everything they had until Cena tossed Batista to the outside.
Then, with the perfect opening in front of him, The Ultimate Opportunist eliminated Cena and earned his spot in the main event at WrestleMania.

The former nine-time World Champion will now walk a long road to Phoenix, Arizona. What will be there waiting for him remains to be seen. With less than two months to go before WrestleMania XXVI, anything can happen, but, for now, Edge is “The One.”

Tonight i reach my 20th show on the 2nd season and it feels great and now i just want to continue this season on because the season finale was suppose to be in 2 days but i have been extended for more blog episodes so i am going to continue on for this month...i will most likely have more episodes in season 2 than i did in season 1 and another great fact is that this is the first time since season 1 premiere i have had more than 3 episodes per day so i am celebrating that

With the success of the ''OF THE DAY'' segements i am going to continue with my teams who all help me with that part and i will continue to make the 2nd season a great season because i know that the first year is always the best year but i am going to break that little myth this time.

Well today was a very crazy day because we had a 100th episode at school on the show which is BETV and we worked all day and we got it done and we played the show and i was very happy to say that because it has been a very difficult year for me and i think i just need to take breather...i have so much priorities on my back that i don't know what to do.


Usually i don't post allot of words because i like to express my episode blogs with pictures, videos, and even some funny quotes but i just wanted to take the time out and express what i am feeling right now because i have a hard time at school with television and i try very hard at what i do and i also have a internship and that makes my life even more hard because i look like a ass sometimes in front of them and that is so not cool and it is not me.


I Just wanted to get my stuff straight because i am going into college in a few months hopefully and i need to move on with my life and i know that i can't do that if i am stress out over some issues that may or may not can't solve in the long run but i know one day i will be in my mind a successful guy with a beautiful son or daughter.
